Same machine, two very different numbers. Installed value and auction value, explained.
Value in place. Wired, plumbed, proven, and producing. Installation and make ready are part of what a running operation is worth.
Value on the block. At auction the machine sells as it stands. Rigging, freight, and reinstallation fall on the buyer, and the price shows it.
Neither number is wrong. They answer different questions, and the report must say which question it answered.
