Jared Lukes
CEO & lead appraiser
Jared Lukes is the CEO and lead appraiser of Lukes & Lukes, an independent machinery and equipment appraisal firm. He develops and signs the firm's appraisals under USPAP as a NEBB-certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA).
Role
The appraiser who signs the number.
Jared leads the firm and the appraisal work. He scopes each engagement, selects and reconciles the approaches to value, and documents the reasoning so the conclusion stands on its own. His view of the craft is simple: an asset is worth a number, and that number is either defensible or it is not. There is no almost.
Jared came to appraisal from highly regulated technology, where documentation has to satisfy examiners as well as readers, and from years spent rebuilding customer service operations for client companies. Both habits carried over: scrutiny in the report, and an engagement that is communicated clearly from first call to delivered report. Before founding Lukes & Lukes in 2026, he spent seven years refining the appraisal product inside national firms.
Across healthcare and medical, automotive, and general industry, Jared brings the same care to a single imaging suite and to a multi-site manufacturing fleet. Every opinion of value he signs is independent, developed under USPAP, and built to withstand lender, SBA, IRS, audit and legal review.
